Emma Houghton

Emma graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006. After qualifying, she completed an internship at Bell before spending time at a stud practice in Australia.

After returning to the UK, Emma spent the next eight years at a busy equine hospital in Wiltshire where she obtained her Certificate in Internal Medicine. She also had a high reproductive caseload, working with both thoroughbred studs and competition horses.

Emma enjoys all aspects of ambulatory work, especially internal medicine. She also heads our equine breeding program at Bell Equine, having had a lot of experience over the last 10 years in this field. She is now studying for her Certificate in Stud Medicine.
