Frerik ter Braake

Frerik graduated in Ghent University (Belgium) in 1990. He worked for two and a half years at the Internal Medicine Department of Utrecht University, followed by a residency at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket after which he joined Dierenkliniek Emmeloord in the Netherlands.

He holds a certificate in Equine Practice, is a boarded ECVS Diplomate and Dutch Specialist in Equine Surgery. Currently he is Clinical Director of Dierenkliniek Emmeloord and supervisor of residents in equine surgery. His focus areas are equine orthopaedics, general equine surgery including colic, obstetric and head and neck surgery. Frerik has a special interest and broad experience in minimal invasive surgery including arthroscopy, tenoscopy and laparoscopy.
